Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch Price Slashed

The late Michael Jackson’s former home known as the Neverland Ranch is again up for sale at a massively discounted price.

The Neverland Ranch has become almost as famous as Michael Jackson himself, and is also notorious as the place where Jackson was alleged to have abused children, though this was never proven.

However, this may not be enough to put off overseas property investors with deep pockets, as the price of the Neverland ranch has now been massively slashed for a quick sale.

The late ‘king of pop’ purchased the ranch which spreads over 2,700 acres in the late eighties and went on to develop the property to include a zoo and amusement park as he created his own world in which to live.

The estate also includes a huge cinema, a dance studio, waterfall, a barn and a firehouse. A vineyard and horse ranch are also available.

The main house is impressive in itself, with six bedrooms, swimming pool and places perfect for playing Tennis and other sports. There are also multiple guest houses.

The Neverland Ranch has now been renamed the Sycamore Valley Ranch and is jointly owned by investment company Colony Capital and the Jackson Estate.

Thought to be worth over $100 million just a few years ago, it was put up for sale in 2017 for Just $67 million but did not sell.

It has now been listed again with a different agent at a knock-down price of just $31 million.

The reason for the huge price discount is unknown but coincides with the release this week of the HBO documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’ which covers the alleged child abuse.

Another less controversial reason given by one of the listing agents is that natural disasters and droughts have impacted the location.

Whatever the reason, overseas property investors interested in a piece of pop history at a knock-down price may want to move quickly.
