According to Balgal Beach resident and real estate agent Robyn Neilson from My Property Agent, the town is ‘absolute paradise’.
She said: ‘We’ve got amazing beaches, golf, fishing. Our beaches are beautiful, sandy and don’t have mangroves everywhere. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.’
Balgal Beach is home to around 1,500 residents, including retired people and a lot of young families.
The cheapest block of land available in the suburb at the moment is on the market for $49,000. The size of the land is a massive 809 square metres, and according to Neilson it is on a community title so there is a small body corporate fee.
She said: ‘It’s fully serviced and very close to the medical centre, pharmacy and golf club. It would take you probably 6 or 7 minutes to walk from there to the beach.’
